AEK FC

AEK won the final of the Olympic Stadium of Athens against Atromitos 3-0, with the goals of Pantelis Kafes Nikos Lymperopoulos and nabil Baha but the glories of AEK in that competition had come earlier. In the quarter-finals Panathinaikos lost with a goal by Spanish midfielder Mitchell with a direct free-kick from about 50 meters at the injury time (victory by 0-2 in the first match and a 2-3 defeat in the second). AEK also beat 1-0 PAOK in the away semi-final 2nd leg with a goal of Traianos Dellas.
