AEK FC announces the signing of the attacker Dimitris Melikiotis.The young player signed a contract until 2021.

Dimitris Melikiotis was born on July 10, 1996 at Veria. He began his career at Veria Academy FC and moved to Veria FC at the age of 16.
He made his official debut in 2015-2016 ( 5 appearances/1 goal and 2 appearances at the Greek Cup) and this year (2016-2017) has already participated in 7 League matches and 2 Cup matches.
He has also played three times for the Greece U-21 and scored one goal against Cyprus (2-2) in a friendly match.

Just after the singing of his contract Dimitris Melikiotis stated: “ I’m very happy for joining AEK FC, because it’s so far the biggest step in my career. It is a big challenge for me and i hope to give back the faith that has be shown to me. I know that AEK FC had really good and successful players that came from my region and i would like to continue this tradition"
