BV Weckhoven joins ΑΕΚ FC Network \\

AEK FC Development Network is pleased to announce the cooperation with BV Weckhoven, the first ever deal with a club outside Greece! This is the BV Weckhoven club, with which the AEK
It is certainly a great honor for AEK and a recognition of the work of its Network that a team from the most advanced football countries asked to become part of AEK FC know-how in football development. BV Weckhoven is a multi-sport club on the outskirts of Dusseldorf with excellent growth prospects.
Mr Robert Meyen, head of the club of BV Weckhoven, said: “We, the Board of BV Weckhoven, are looking forward to creating something big as the first member of AEK's Development Network in Germany. Our contact with the managers of the central academy in Athens is so warm and familiar, as if we have known each other for years."
The technical director of the club Mr. Panagiotis Kontos regarding this new partnership also stated: "We are all looking forward to working with AEK FC Development Network. We are proud to represent AEK in our region and have already made it clear to our athletes how beneficial this relationship is. We look forward to visiting AEK FC facilities in Greece and attending the seminars."
On behalf of the young athletes, the leader of the U-17 squad Alan Aisso declared: "We are very excited about our new partnership with AEK FC. I hope everything goes well and we achieve success. A positive atmosphere between players and coaches is the cornerstone of a good season. I am grateful for the opportunity that AEK gives us."
On behalf of AEK, the Athletic Director of the Academy, Mr. Ilias Kyriakidis, said: "On behalf of all the partners of the Network of Collaborating Academies and the Academy of AEK FC, I welcome you to our big family with joy and gratitude. From our first contacts, we found out how you perceive and accept our mission for the full development of young sportsmen and women. Our Network and Academy act as centers for learning football skills as well as life skills. We are convinced that the people of "BVW ACADEMY AEK FC DEVELOPMENT NETWORK" with their faith, hard work, willingness to learn and acceptance of new challenges through our cooperation, will contribute to the qualitative development of the project".
