AEK joins the European Football for Development Network \\

AEK Athens is the first Greek Club that officially became a full member of European Football for Development Network on 15th of July. EFDN is a bottom up and club led initiative for community engaged professional football clubs throughout Europe (24 teams in 14 countries) who are convinced of the social power of football and that want to cooperate on a European level.

The network organises and sets up numerous training and staff exchanges between the European Clubs, offering knowledge and experiences, communication development, support of the Academies and exploitation of European projects in football.

Members of the European Football for Development Network are also Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Feyenoord, Benfica, PSV Eindhoven, Bayer Leverkusen, Werder, Wolfsburg, the Cypriot Anorthosis Famagusta, while the network is expanding rapidly in order to become a reference point for European football.
