AEK FC signs Lazaros Christodoulopoulos \\

AEK FC announces the cooperation with the Greek international football player, Lazaros Christodoulopoulos, who signed a two-year contract with a renewal option for one more year. 

Lazaros Christodoulopoulos was born on December 19, 1986 in Thessaloniki, and began his professional career in 2004 with PAOK. He was transferred to Panathinaikos in summer of 2008, where he stayed for 4.5 years and in January 2013 he continued his career in Italy with Bologna. He joined Hellas Verona in 2014 and last year played at Sampdoria on loan.

He has the experience of playing in Greece under 19 and under 21 National Football Team.  On February 2008, under the supervision of Otto Rehhagel, made his debut in the National Team with the win over the Czech Republic on 5 February. Since then he has played 28 matches (one goal) with the national team and played a key role in the final phase of the World Cup in Brazil.
