AEK F.C. announces the agreement with AS ROMA for the loan of Argentine striker Ezequiel Ponce for 2018-19 season with the option of expanding the agreement, as well as the purchase of the player on June 2019.
Ezequiel Ponce was born on Rosario of Argentina on 29 March, 1997 and began his football career from youth academy of Newells Old Boys. He made his debut in 2013.
In August 2015 he moved to Roma. The next season was loaned on Granada and scored 2 goals in 25 matches in La Liga. Last year he played in Championnat for Lille F.C. and made 25 appearances, while he played 2 times in the French Cup and 2 times in the French League Cup, and he scored 3 goals in all competitions.
Ezequiel is international with Argentina U20 team and he played for 3 matches in the World Cup 2017 in South Korea.
Alef Dos Santos was born on 28 January, 1995 in Nova Odessa, Brazil, and he began his professional career from football academy of Ponte Preta.
At the age of 19 he moved to Marseille with an option to be purchased, however the next summer (2015) he moved to Braga which loaned him during the 2016-17 season on Um Salal of Qatar. Last year played for Apollon Lemesou. Alef has also played for Brazil (U20 team) in 5 matches in the World Cup of New Zealand but they were lost to from Serbia in the final.
