AEK FC is delighted to announce the appointment of Dimitris Nalitzis as team manager.

Dimitris Nalitzis was born on January 25, 1976, in Piraeus. He started his football career with Niki Renti and at the age of 16 he joined the Panionios Academy, with PAOK, Udinese, Perugia and Sporting Lisbon to follow.

In 2002 he joined AEK, playing with its jersey for the following two years. He made a total of 63 appearances in all competitions, scoring 17 goals.

In his career he won two Greek Cups with Panionios (1998) and PAOK (2001), as well as a Championship and a Portuguese Cup with Sporting (2002). He has also been member of all the youth national teams and six times international with the Greek Men's National Team.

In 2010 he retired and in 2016 he took over the position of team manager at Panionios, working there for the following four years.
