Giorgos Alexopoulos was an international (3 caps with Greece) central defender playing for Panathinaikos, Iraklis, Egaleo, AEK and Ergotelis. After his retiring he started his coaching career working as assistant manager alongside Nikos Kostenoglou (now Technical Director of AEK FC Football Academy) in AEK FC, AO Xanthi, Anorthosis Famagusta and Apollon Smyrna. He belongs to AEK FC Academy coaching staff the last two years.
