After a brief footballing spell at his homeland Serbia, Ivan Nedeljkovic came to Greece to spend the rest of his career. He played for Karditsa, Panegialios, Paniliakos, Rodos, AEL, Chaidari, Egaleo, Kavala and Aghia Paraskevi.

He worked for Aghia Paraskevi as head coach and his next stop was at AOT Alimos as assistant coach of the first team and U19 head coach. He joined AEK FC Academy in summer 2014 and he has been the head coach of U14, U15, U16 and U17 teams since then. He is UEFA A Elite Youth licence holder.
