Manos Arvanitakis graduated from the department of Podiatry at the University of Salford, Manchester. He holds a master’s degree in Podiatry from Queen Margaret University (Edinburgh, Scotland).

He also volunteered at the Manchester Foot Hospital as a general podiatrist. During his stay in Great Britain he worked for Manchester United. He has worked with AEK in the past in two periods (2001-2004 and 2018-19) while he has also worked as a podiatrist at Olympiakos, Panathinaikos.
