"For me AEK FC means a lot. After 32 years at Sevilla FC, AEK was the team that gave me the chance to work abroad for the first time. Here in Greece we worked a lot and we won the Cup under difficult circumstances.
At this point of time AEK FC wasn't at the best point of its history. We all had a lot of problems,. For example i remember the delays of our payments and other things. The decline of the club, which led to the relegation had just started. But AEK proved that is not dying.
After its relegation came, AEK FC resurrected and moved up straight to Super League, by also winning the Cup last year. So if we could talk about a revenge, is not a revenge for me, but for AEK FC!
I came here because i want to help the team to become better. I’m not here for the money or some other reason.  If i can say that i have loved two teams, these are Sevilla, where i have live a big part of my life and the second one is AEK, where i have lived a lot of great moments. But now its time to work. I prefer to speak with my work than to say a lot of things.
