AEK FC have announced Tasos Bakasetas has signed a new three-year contract with the club.
Tasos Bakasetas was born in 28/6/1993 in Nemea, Greece. He began his football career in the football academies of Asteras Tripolis and, in 2010, he was selected to join Asteras’s first team.
He was 16-years and 284 days old when he made his debut in Greece’s Super League, actually in a match against AEK FC. AEK FC won that match with a score of 2-0.
In 2011, he was transferred to Thrasyvoulos Fylis team and then, in 2014, to Aris FC. In January 2015, Tasos joint Panionios FC and he played in 42 matches of the Super League having achieved 12 goals. He captured the success of the top scorer of the team during this last season having scored 12 out of the 36 goals in official matches.
Tasos is a Greek international, having represented his nation at under-19 (he played in the Final of the European championship in 2012) and under-21 levels. He already counts two participations with the Men’s national team (during the recent friendly matches in Australia).
