Alexis Alexiou was born in Athens and grew up in Piraeus, being part of a family with roots from Kesaria in Asia Minor. A graduate of the Zanneio Model Experimental Lyceum, he studied law at the Democritus University of Thrace. He has been a member of the Athens Bar Association since 1990 and specializes in commercial, maritime and sports law. At AEK FC he serves both from the position of legal advisor and from the position of Second Vice President. Since May 2014 he has been the president of the Sports Club, while he is the president and CEO of AEK BC.
