AEK FC officially announces the signing of new contracts with Theodosis Macheras and Mario Mitai. The 21-year-old winger signed until the summer of 2026, while the 17-year-old left back signed until December of 2023.

Theodosis Macheras was born on May 9, 2000 and plays as a winger. He stood out with his performances at Panionios Academy, making 23 appearances and scoring nine times. In the summer of 2018 he joined the AEK Academy. On February 2020 extended his contract until summer of 2023 and a few days later (1/3/2020) he made his debut in a Super League Greece match against former team, Panionios. To date he has played 18 matches in total, scoring one goal. Additionally, he has international appearances with the U18 and U20 National Team.

Mario Mitaj was born on August 6, 2003 in Albania. He plays mainly in the positions of left CD and left back. He joined AEK Academy in 2017, as a member of U15 team. He is international with the youth national teams of his country. On August 12th, 2020, he signed his first professional contract and joined the trainings of the first team. On October 18, he made his professional debut, against PAOK, in OAKA and to date he has made in total 5 appearances and two assists.
